1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using ...is typing, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. By using ...is typing, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

4. Your content

You retain full ownership of everything you write in your journal. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the AI response features you request.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

5. Subscription and billing

...is typing offers a 7-day free trial followed by a paid subscription. Billing is handled by Paddle, our payment processor. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly basis.

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

6. AI responses

AI responses are for personal reflection and emotional support only. They do not constitute professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• xAttempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the service
• xUse the service to harass, impersonate, or harm others
• xCircumvent any usage limits, security measures, or access controls
• xUse automated tools to interact with the service without our written consent

8. Service availability

We aim to keep ...is typing available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or discontinue the service with reasonable notice where possible and are not liable for loss resulting from service interruptions.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your journal entries will be permanently deleted within a reasonable timeframe.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ...is typing and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes we will notify you via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
